Keiki and families can learn all about the exciting Ocean View Skatepark and new disc golf course being built at Kahuku Park, while designers and builders share fun, hands‑on info about how these spaces are being created for our community.

Stop by the booth to pick up skatepark hats, shirts, stickers and other fun fundraising items.

Hawai‘i Keiki Museum – Keiki Science Adventures
Aloha keiki and ʻohana! The Hawai‘i Keiki Museum brings exciting Keiki Science Activities to the lower level of the Community Center, where little hands dive into hands‑on STEAM exploration, island‑inspired discovery, and playful learning. Open daily from 9am–6pm, this vibrant 501(c)(3) non‑profit offers more than a dozen interactive exhibits that spark curiosity, creativity, and laughter for the whole family. Kaia’s Little Brush, Big Magic!
The Kaʻū Wellness Festival is delighted to welcome face painter Kaia, whose joyful, gentle art brings smiles to life and color to every face. With her “Little Brush, Big Magic!” aesthetic, Kaia creates temporary works of art that celebrate play, imagination, and the beauty of being seen in your full, radiant self. From butterflies and rainbows to dolphins, flowers, and spirit animals, each design is painted with care, turning keiki and kūpuna alike into living canvases of aloha.
